Discipleship Groups at Resurrection, including Sunday School and Confirmation, are small group opportunities for students of all ages to grow deeper in their faith. In Confirmation (8th – 12th Grade), students learn and ultimately have an opportunity to choose for themselves whether they want to adopt the Christian faith as their own. Students learn from teachers and caring mentors about the tradition of our faith and how it has been passed on over thousands of years. In small groups with their peers, they are encouraged to ask tough questions, serve others and discover what it means to believe and follow Jesus. At Resurrection, Confirmation culminates with a ceremony where students make a public profession of their faith and become a full member of the church. Here you will find a complete participant journal detailing the scope, sequence and process.
