Holy Land Footage – Jacob’s Well

Mt. Gerazim is located in the northern West Bank, approximately 30 milies north of Jerusalem. It is the site of Joseph’s tomb and Jacob’s well. This well has been associated with Jacob for more than 2,000 years, even though the well is not specifically mentioned in the Old Testament. This is where the Gospel of John tells of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman.
