Angels: God’s Messengers of Comfort and Joy

Description:

What comes to mind when you hear the words “angel,” “halo,” or “wings”? What about celestial beings descending from the sky? What if there’s more to angels than the ornaments we hang on our Christmas trees? The word angel means messenger. They’re mentioned hundreds of times in scripture. They bring messages of comfort, peace and joy. And who doesn’t need more of this today? Sometimes, the Bible says, when we welcome strangers, we welcome angels without knowing it.

Here you’ll find resources for this five-week Advent series, including the weekly sermons, as well as separate graphics and other resources for Christmas Eve.
