Executive Director of Donor Development at Church of the Resurrection
Debi Nixon served as a volunteer, before joining Church of the Resurrection’s staff in 1994 as the founding children’s ministry director. Over the past 20+ years, she has served in a number of different roles including launching small groups, Executive Director for Adult Discipleship, and coordinator of two capital campaigns. She is passionate about the renewal of the Church and is responsible for leading the team focused on this initiative through regional campuses, conferencing, teaching events for church leaders, young clergy development, partner church ministry, and other special initiatives. Debi has led workshops nationally and internationally on church leadership and principles and practices of radical hospitality. She is the author of CATCH: A Churchwide Program for Invitational Evangelism.
Debi has been married to her husband, Reed, since 1984, and they are discovering a new-found joy as empty nesters, while also treasuring time with their two grown children and grandchildren.
