Mission Ministries Lead Director at Church of the Resurrection
Carol Cartmill is Church of the Resurrection’s Mission Ministries Lead Director. In this role, she provides vision and oversight to mission programs that maximize the congregation’s involvement in life-changing ministry beyond the walls of the church, and cultivates strategic relationships within the contexts and communities served by its members. Through her work, Carol applies her passion for equipping people for ministry, practical experience from working in a local church setting, and an educational background in organizational management and leadership. She has led local, national and global training events and workshops on topics relating to discipleship, mission and mobilizing volunteers.
In her leisure time, Carol enjoys reading, hiking, golf, traveling with her husband Jim, and spending time with their daughters, Lauren and Kristin. She is a co-author of Serving from the Heart: Finding Your Gifts and Talents for Service, Leadership from the Heart: Learning to Lead with Love and Skill, Leadership Essentials: Practical Tools for Leading in the Church, and Journey 101: Steps to the Life God Intends, all published by Abingdon Press, Nashville, TN.
