Before Anything Else: Three Questions that Drive Us

In the summer of 1990, before Resurrection had a name, gathered our core group, or held our first worship service, we spent time pondering three questions: Why do people need Jesus? Why do they need a church? And, Why this church? Searching the scriptures, the answers shaped who we became as a congregation, and our passion for ministry to this day. This 3-week sermon series revisits those foundational questions that shaped our community from the very beginning. Reflecting again on these questions deepens our understanding and reinvigorates our faith, as we explore together the timeless importance of Jesus in our lives, the vital role of church community, and the unique purpose of Resurrection.
