Description:

Forward Faith is a comprehensive 4-week student ministry curriculum for middle and high school youth groups. Built on the idea that faith is more than something we hold in our heads or hearts, the series challenges students to live out a faith in Jesus that is their own and that moves them forward. Drawing from Hebrews 11 and 12, students explore four aspects of faith: its foundation (taking God’s word), its movement (following God into the unknown, like Abraham), its endurance (persevering through struggle), and its focus (keeping their eyes on Jesus).

Each week includes complete teaching materials with director guides, mentor guides, discussion questions for both middle and high school students, large group games (active and screen-based), small group activities, supply lists, and weekly student challenges. The curriculum makes room for students’ doubts and questions, reminding them that God isn’t afraid of either, while giving them practical next steps to put their faith into action. Hands-on activities include a paper airplane challenge about trusting instructions without seeing the whole picture, painted “God is my Rock” stones students can keep as a reminder that God is with them in hard times, and a counting game that gets harder as distractions pile on.

Perfect for youth pastors and volunteer leaders looking for ready-to-use content that helps students move from simply believing to actively following, with practical programming for weekly gatherings.
