Session Descriptions:

The Why of Hospitality and Two Types of Churches

Debi Nixon

Is your church inwardly or outwardly focused? We’ll discuss why hospitality matters, as well as the difference between these two types of churches, and how that impacts the hospitality we offer.

Principles of Hospitality

Yvonne Gentile

The difference between friendliness and radical hospitality is intentionality. We’ll explore three principles of hospitality that will help you consistently deliver hospitality that surprises and delights those who receive it, inspiring them to the next step of discipleship.

Providing Great Experiences – In-Person and Online

Debi Nixon

Every point at which a guest encounters your church is a touchpoint that impacts their experience. In this session, we’ll take a look at key touchpoints in the guest experience, and discuss ways to ensure they deliver a positive impression.

Intentional Follow-Up

Yvonne Gentile

Your follow-up is an extension of your hospitality, and the quality of your follow-up has a big influence on a guest’s decision to return. Here, we’ll discuss practical ways to make your follow-up effective.

Thank you from a pastor in a rural town who truly appreciates the resources you are offering. Your resources lifted a load from my shoulders in a time when I needed one lifted. Thank you for your kindness; this pastor appreciates it. God bless you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  We are shifting so much to meet the needs of our community during this time that we have really been stretching our staff resources.  I am so grateful for your willingness to share – not just the content, but also the time it took just to reply (and so quickly!)!  Really, thanks!

Darren R.

ShareChurch is such a valuable resource to us all.  I find that I access it first on many topics just to begin my research, or to confirm if we are on the right track on a number of topics.  Thank you and COR for providing this to us all.
